He is called the first viral celebrity of 2011. He is the Golden-Voiced Homeless Man named Ted Williams, who was found soliciting loose change from drivers along Ohios's I-71. Scribbled on a piece of cardboard was this:

"I have a god given gift of voice. I'm an ex-radio announcer who has fallen on hard times. Please! Any help will be greatfully appreciated. Thank you and God bless. Happy holidays."

His story was first released Monday, January 3, 2011 in the Columbus Dispatch who also aired a video entitled Golden Homeless Voice. After his video was aired, it hit more than 4.5 million views in two days. Job offers subsequently came in. One from NBA's Cleveland Cavaliers among many others.
